Dr. Rocket is an American rock band from Eugene, Oregon, and was founded in 2013 by Nick Carver (vocals, guitar, songwriting) and Mason Kline (drums). The group's musical style stems most from Beatles-influenced 60s/70s pop, baroque-pop, and glam. Dr. Rocket incorporates upbeat pop melodies with often playful, yet honest lyrics.
For the past year Nick and Mason have been gigging in Eugene, Oregon, as well as working on their debut album, which will be finished by November of 2014.
Prior to their upcoming album release, Dr. Rocket will be releasing a cover of ELO's "Mr. Blue Sky" by the end of May 2014.
