Dream Parade was founded in 2013 by Michael Louzao and Timothy Williams. Finally settling on a lineup consisting of Kurt Briggs-Ungerer on bass, Sam Mohler on drums, and Bennett Mohler on guitar, the band finally starting gigging, sparsely but consistently in Portland, OR to enthusiastic audiences. Michael Louzao left the band in 2014 and the remaining four restructured the band's sound, recorded a demo and decided to continue on. Their simple melodic arrangements are reminiscent of other NW indie bands but peppered with loud raucous explosions of distorted cacophony.
