Donny Ambory

Growing up in Detroit, Donny began his obsession with music  - - primarily the guitar. With his trek to the renowned University of North Texas School of Music, he fell in love with the lonesome sounds of the dusty southwest. In the smoky barrooms of Chicago, Donny melded punk, blues, country and soul. Upon arriving in Colorado, he began to incorporate the dirt floor folk and mountain psychedelia of his adopted home. 

Much of Donny's music echoes themes of sorrow, moral tribulation and redemption... but, occasionally he will surprise you with a song about a good roll in the hay just to change things up!
