Doctor Paul is a songwriter who believes that we should party our way to the revolution! His influences include some of the usual suspects and some unusual ones: Bob, Bruce, Paul Simon, Little Feat; Da Blues; alt-country -- Lyle, Willie, Shelby, Dave Alvin; tropicos -- Jimmy Buffett, Marley. His songs range from playful - Sand in All the Wrong Places, Tan Lines, to political - Profits of Doom, Who's the Hero, to storyful - Stare at the Rearview, Drink Cuz I Want To. Paul grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and has lived in Hawaii for over 20 years. He has played throughout Hawaii, here and there on the US mainland, Australia and New Zealand.
