"DJ Rocstar Releases Latest Single ‘Anybody Home?’"

Out tomorrow 16 April, ‘Anybody Home?’ is the latest single from Alabama based tropical house and EDM producer, DJ Rocstar. The track marks the return for the DJ, after a 20 year hiatus from his previous moniker of Heavy Roc, and allows him to vent his frustration about the terrorist attack on the US Capitol building, on January 6 this year.
Making good use of synths and 808 drums, DJ Rocstar takes his inspiration from the likes of Public Enemy, and Miami Sound Machine. The artist has previously worked with the likes of Tupac, and Lil Jon, but now he’s thrown himself wholly into Deep House, albeit with his own modern take on it.

Rocstar begs the question, “What possibly could have happened” on his new single, his anger at the situation palpable. The instrumentation is catchy and very memorable, and should appeal not just to his existing fans but also to those who believe in justice and a better way of living.

You can pre-save ‘Anybody Home?’ here. Find out more about DJ Rocstar and his music online on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Soundcloud, Spotify, and Apple Music. - Essentially Pop by Lisa Hafey | Posted on 15/04/2021

Bio

The year 2020 I made my return to the music scene as an independent artist after a 20 year break. Under a new name with a new outlook on music I released a string of singles online thru 2021. Now I feel I've mastered my sound and I'm ready to share it with the world.
For me the transitions was not that far of a jump.
Im coming from a Bass music background, and I've always loved Reggae music I really think it will show in the production of the upcoming projects.
