Jordan Craft; Colorado born, Southern bred and with East coast influence, began rapping at the age of 8 years old. Hailing from Colorado Springs, Colorado, DJ Craftmatic is not your A-typical DJ; standing out is what he does. Craftmatic uses his skill sets to be a musician by manipulating sounds and genres to make auditory journeys that turns heads. Craftmatic started as an emerging hip-hop artist in the Greater Colorado area but found new life in music by learning to DJ. In 2010, DJ Craftmatic took his skills to market playing in small venues in Pueblo, Colorado then gaining notoriety in Colorado Springs largely in 2014 playing local hotspots like Thirsty Parrot, The Mansion and Rhino's bar. Eventually, those in turn helped push Craftmatic into several large opportunities like spinning for Colorado's premier Hip-Hop duo, The Reminders; opening for Hieroglyphics, Sonic Bloom Music Festival and Crested Butte Music Festival, Big Wonderful and other shows for the talented group. By being well-versed in many genres, Craftmatic's brand has further extended to playing venues like The Church in Denver, he historic City Auditorium in Colorado Springs, Pikes Peak Center for Arts and even branched out to Oceanside, California to bring his sound not only to the Mountain West Region but to the surrounding areas.
