District 11, Isaac Reid, Houston, TX, and cohort, songwriter/vocalist Melinda Burns, who also goes by 'Mel B', originated while the two were attending Louisiana State University in Shreveport. District 11 embodies new age unity through music. Melinda, Chattanooga, TN, is a lone-force with a perceivable, unlimited vocal range. While being a superb songwriter, Burns accompanied by Reid's production form an undeniably powerful duo that brings an element of depth and perspective to the modern, new age mainstream.
