It all started in 2006 for The Cretins. And boy have they grown up,
Flash forward to 2007 and it would be impossible to find a week where The Cretins weren't rocking a stage. They made the 449 Room their home.
By the thay'd expanded to Joe's Mill Hill Saloon and a few of the Trenton bar's HelpFest dates. They also headlined Six Flags Great Adventure a few times last summer and they'll be back again this summer.
The Cretin's nine-song debut hits the streets Friday night witha record release party at the American Legion Hall on Route 130 in Hightstown.
There's no novelty anymore, just rock 'n 'roll. The matching geek ties have been replaced by three-part harmonies, melodic rumbles, shredding guitar solos, pop-punk splendor. That shows this debut is only the begining of something special.
