Dirty Red Sunshine is a 5-piece band based in Columbus, Ohio. With a Lead singer/Frontman -Patrick Thomas Bolich- who, at any moment, doubles on guitar or keyboards, a Drummer -Erik Diaz- who, among other artists, was the drummer for Hall Of Fame Inductees Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Cassady in Hot Tuna, a Keyboardist -Keith Blair-, an exceptionally talented musician with a strong, unique and very entertaining stage presence, a Guitarist -John Widner- who is an electrifying guitarist (think Hendrix, Clapton, Santana) with superior feel, and a Bassist -Myke Rock- who, among other things, has toured the U.S., Canada and many times in Europe, DRS finds that the line-up has a predisposition to the jam. Rock music is the mainstay, but the stretching and contorting extentions of lead sections, gives the band ample opportunites to jam. Dirty Red Sunshine takes full advantage of these moments, making for sententious, thrilling fare.

Dirty Red Sunshine founder Patrick Thomas Bolich has spent years thinking about the exact kind of band he would ultimately like to put together. In 2023, the "Dream" has come to fruition. DRS is a coalition of top musicians who have come together to give an audience an experience rarely found today. In-depth attention to detail is a repeating theme the band carries with them at all times, resulting in some great music from a band with a dogged determination to present its audience with nothing less than an all out effort to give a true concert experience.

Patrick Thomas Bolich is a soulful, dynamic front man that really captivates audiences with his charismatic performances! Growing up in a musical family where creativity was encouraged and supported he began writing , recording and producing in the studio and found his voice. Bolich has extensive live performance experience playing theaters and Festivals all over the Midwest and has shared the stage and opened for bands Like Great White, Winger, L.A Gunns , The Baby's, Eric Moore (The Godz), Teeny Tucker as well as Tribute artists The McCartney Project, Kavon (Elvis Tribute) and many more as a performer for Music Legends Live Entertainment.
Eric Diaz began playing drums at two years old, had his first professional gig at age eleven and never looked back. Diaz has extensive experience that includes recording, radio appearances and touring with Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame Inductees Jorma Kaukonen's and Jack Cassady's band, Hot Tuna. Eric is a dynamic, powerhouse of a drummer with an innate sense of timing and unbelievable feel.
John Widner started playing guitar at age thirteen. Influenced by Hendrix, Clapton and Santana, John is cut from the same cloth. Blessed with natural music talent, a great ear and feel at age 17, he became the lead guitar player for the Bellows who were signed with Play records. Widner is a passionate guitarist, every note drenched in emotion and raw energy. Every performance is a unique and electrifying experience.
Keith Blair has been known for decades as an extremely talented keyboardist who, as with all DRS members, has a strong, unique and very entertaining stage presence. Blair has played with many notable bands, including touring the country and Europe with Ray Fuller and the Bluesrockers and currently performs with Q-FM-96 House Band, The Groove and central Ohio favorites, the Soul Satyr Horns Band.
Myke Rock is a bass guitarist with many miles under his belt. Having toured the US and Canada as a teen with early Columbus punk band Screaming Urge, Rock adds touring and recording throughout Europe over the past 7 years, and he's lived in Belgium nearly half that time. Known for his captivating stage persona and aggressive playing style, Rock has become a favorite among bass enthusiasts, both in the U.S. and greater Europe.
