Derek Skelton

Derek Skelton, an Air Force veteran, seamlessly transitioned from military service to pursue his lifelong passion for music, emerging as a gifted County music artist. Native of the small town of Weaver, Alabama, Derek's journey was shaped by his unwavering love for music. From a young age, Derek exhibited a natural inclination towards music, honing his craft through performances in church, school choir, and local singing competitions. 

In 2019, while stationed in Oahu, Hawaii, Derek caught the attention of a recording studio in Nashville. Recognized as a “Breakout Artist” by Off The Row Studio, Derek marked his entry into the music scene with the release of his debut single, ‘Can’t Outlove Me.' His captivating sound quickly gathered acclaim, earning him features in publications such as Worlds of Country, Buzz Music, Today's Country Magazine, and more. 

Derek's talents didn't go unnoticed by the U.S. Air Force, as evidenced by his selection as one of only 30 individuals from the Air Force for the Artisan Air Series in 2023. This platform showcased his multifaceted talent alongside a diverse array of artists, including visual creators and poets, affirming Derek's status as a versatile creative force.
