@deaDMCBand were AMAZING last night. Not bad for dead people! :D Totally made my year. #GDC #Freetoparty - http://www.steviewardtv.com/
So it goes with the hyper-popular Chewbacchus, which in just a few years has gained, well, intergalactic acclaim. Maybe it’s the stormtroopers. Maybe it’s the (new) “Ladies of Star Trek.” Maybe it’s the music, courtesy of groups like the Dead Music Capital Band, which cranks out a wicked version of the “Cantina Theme” from “Star Wars.” - New Orleans Times Picayune

"Combining their brass, beats and rhythms, the Minor Mishap Marching Band and the Dead Music Capital Band came together to raise money for Honk! TX. Honk! TX is a street music festival taking place in March, bringing together 20 community street bands in Austin's neighborhoods." - Austin Culturemap

Bio
Blowing horns and banging drums from beyond the grave, the Dead Music Capital Band is undying proof that the party doesn't have to end just because life does. From originals, New Orleans-brass classics, heavy metal, show tunes, movie themes, to Chopin and beyond--it's all fed through the DMCB brass band organ grinder to produce an outrageously macabre musical party!
Dead Music Capital Band has been featured at a wide variety of events--performances with Big Freedia, Galactic, Gypsyphonic Disko, appearances at Austin's HONK!TX Festival and Seattle's Honk! Fest West, NOLA's Intergalactic Krewe of Chewbacchus Mardi Gras Parade, Maker's Faire, the Texas Community Music Festival, Queerbomb, Austin PRIDE, Art Outside, and countless other club gigs, impromptu street performances, and parades.Links
