This NEW! DMV artist literally just popped on the music scene. Nineteen year old De'Lise has been singing and playing instruments since she was 5 years old. Her raw talent can be heard on her NEW HIT SINGLE "On You" a brief EXCLUSIVE on 93.9 WKYS.
She is currently working on her first EP to be released in the Summer of 2017. With immense admiration for her father: Byron 'BJ' Jackson (Go-Go Music Legend) and artist like: Jhene Aiko, Khalani, Rihanna and Layla Hathaway, De'Lise approaches her craft with a serious passion to give you something you've never heard before. New artist De'Lise has been singing and playing instruments (guitar and piano) since she was 5 years old. She is being recognized for her rich and smooth tone that you will hear on her new single: "On You" a fun and fresh collaboration of reggae, calypso and r&b.
This eighteen year old is quickly evolving into an amazing singer/songwriter with immense admiration for artist like: Jhene Aiko, Kehlani, Rihanna and Layla Hathaway. She is currently finishing up her first EP with Grammy Nominated Producer: D-Moet of Nas "Hate me Now" feat. P. Diddy. De'Lise is the sole author of this entire project. You can find De'Lise performing all over the DMV as well as on YouTube. She has performed for WPGC 95.5's R&B Live Concert Series, The Rnbgroovetheory with one of DMV's top promoters: Eddie Kayne, The Prince George's County Bar Association and for Expressionz Live Cafe in New Jersey. Her single "On You" was also played for a brief time on WKYS 93.9 as an exclusive by the one the stations DJs.
