Bio
David Wiseman is a singer-songwriter from the mountains of Western NC. “Blues, Folk, and Ballads; Truths and Lies” describes his topical and timeless songs; music with a dog, couch, and a washing machine on the front porch kind of sound, a gritty and real-world approach to writing and performing. Acoustic guitar, harmonica, a porch board and David’s unmistakable gruff vocal style unite to reflect the souls of the songs he writes; protest songs, murder ballads, and even a love song or two. His performances are enthusiastic, moving, and represent storytelling set to music at its best.
David followed up his 2016 studio CD Panes by releasing Live at The Hideaway on Sept 7, 2017. In 2019, he will be working with Robert George at Sound Temple Studios, who produced Panes, to start recording I Ain’t Stayin’.
