Since the June 2012 CD mailing, all cuts from Hello Mr. Death & Other Love Songs have been played on stations across the US and Europe, including WFMT's Midnight Special. The album was selected for the #3 spot among WDCB's Folk Festival's top 20 albums of 2012 and the #2 spot for best songs: "When Winter Comes" and "How Long?", as well as among the top twenty-five albums of 2012 on WVPE's The Back Porch.

Bio
Inspired by my favorite authors, as well as by my favorite songwriters, my vision is that the true voices in music will emerge from the crowd and be heard alongside the other true voices already among us. I know that one of the ways that I feel most real and true is through writing, singing, or hearing a good song.
I believe that we affect everything we touch through our creations, so I see music as a responsibility, as well as an art. I take lyrics seriously, even in humor, but the textures of melody, voice, and instrumentation enter the body first and say more than words can get at by themselves.
