Danny Hammons is a folk singer-songwriter born in Knoxville, TN and raised in Birmingham, AL. He toured the country for a decade under the name Peasants! with a rotating group of musician friends and recorded a handful of demos & EPs which included many Bham musicians and members of Steel City Jug Slammers, Red Mountain Jug Band, Jubal John, Profane Sass & more. Danny began recording his debut full length, Take The Long Road Home, in the summer of 2021. It is due to be released fall of 2022. In December 2021 he put out The Peasants Sessions, a 15-song collection of Folk songs recorded between 2009-2019.
