Bio
Damon Le Gall started as a self-taught guitarist whose first guitar he rescued from a neighbor's trash can at age 10. Damon learned to play guitar from listening to early Black Sabbath and Ritchie Blackmore.
The list of bands Damon has been a part of include Coven, Malignancy, Knight Drive, Vintage City, LCM, The Gray Coats and Revenant.
Damon has played with notable musicians such as Luther Tucker of Chicago Blues fame, Miles Schon, Eric Barnett of Points North, Tommy Odetto and Loretta Carpenter. Damon has also recorded music for a movie by pioneer punk rocker Jeff Piccinini.
Damon has studied under the great Motor City guitar legend Kevin Russell and was a finalist in the King Of The Blues 2012 competition hosted by Guitar Center.
Mike Maier (bass) grew up in the Chicago area and played in various established rock/progressive bands. He then earned a BA in music marketing, studying piano and music theory. He also studied bass with Brad Russell for about 4 years. After some time off music, Mike returned to his rock interests when he relocated to Seattle and later to San Francisco.
In SF he began focusing on blues rock in his band 'Red Tongue' and later joined 'The Particles' in
2002 playing and writing rock/alt rock. They recorded their 3rd full length CD
- Burst and followed up a year later with a single release.
Mark Heaphy (drums) started playing drums in 7th grade. Mark has done studio session
work and played with notable musicians such as John Varn and Tommy Odetto of 'The Bad Jones' as well as Miles Schon.
Mark's technique is superb. A true professional through and through.
Mark heads his own bi-monthly jam session , Mark's Jam Sammich, featuring some of the best blues and funk fusion players of the notoriously musical Marin County.
