Crucial Mass, based in Jackson, New Jersey, provides high-energy, fan involved, and powerful musical performances. Unlike many new bands, Crucial Mass was formed with talented members of numerous other groups targeting covers of groups like Metallica, Megadeth, and Slayer but quickly discovered that they drew the attention of fans through their original songs; a mix of fast-paced modern metal and punchy, heart-pounding, full-throttle 80's heavy metal. Crucial Mass performs All Original and Original / Cover performances.Crucial Mass has over 90 Years combined, professional musical experience including touring, performance and recording. We ARE NOT a young garage band. Member achievements include performing as opening act for Jackal, Firehouse, Disturbed, and GWAR's Cory Smoot (Deceased) at NJ's venues like The Saint, Stone Pony, Brighton Bar, and Birchill Night Club. Crucial Mass is currently recording and working on the release of an album under an Independent Label.
