Candice, also known as Candigirl, is excited to release her first album under Crossroad Records, with Grammy Nominated producer Baby Ben. Representing Austin, TX, Candice has many layers; she is a singer and songwriter, but has recently channeled her attention towards rap as well.
Candice is a talented artist who says, "I have no limits!" meaning she loves singing/rapping pop, hip-hop and R&B. Candice has been singing since she was 13. Candice was introduced by her father, to Baby Ben, a well known amazing Grammy Nominated producer and CEO of Baby Ben Productions and Crossroad Records.
Baby Ben took Candice under his wings and produced Candice's first debut Grammy Nominated album "One Step Closer," currently available for purchase at CD Baby and iTunes. The album showcases her multiple talents as both a singer and a rapper. The theme of the album underlies the evolution of Candice aka Candi Girl from a young teenage singer to a barely legal adult now known as Can D Ice.
Candice likes to write about humor, creativity, romance, life experiences, from herself and others, and is an all around positive person. The album was inspired by her mother, father, two sisters, grandmother, and every person that has been there for her since the beginning.
"I was brought up in a very musically inclined family. My mother, who is also an artist, was in a group called 'SSIPP' whom opened up for Ray Charles. I also grew up listening to music as old as the 50s to now, and I've known since I could talk that music was what God called me to do, and I won't let my dreams be deferred, neither should you," says Candice.

Baby Bens first song Manifested to be Tested, was created and released in 1998 on the biggest record label of its genre, Grape Tree Records.
