His career was to be making and performing music, and he knew it. Cross King's father died when he was eleven. He struggled, watching his mother "cope" with alcohol, and began experimenting with marijuana and ecstasy.Through this tragic ordeal he was accompanied by an older sister. At sixteen he found himself in a relationship full of chaos and pain.

Cross always knew God had an amazing purpose for him, but still he always felt second best. Then he began began writing and freestyling that. He dubbed himself Cross King. Right away he began learning the tools of the trade, and expanding his roots as an artist.Cross is influenced by artists like; Dizzy Wright, Eminem, Guns and Roses, AC/DC, Kendrick Lamar, and many more.

Cross King becomes more and more popular with every day that passes. He now owns and manages Cravin' Recordz. He writes, records, edits, mixes, and masters his own music, on top of recording, editing, mixing and mastering for label artist. His album, Mr. Misunderstood: The Birth, is currently under wraps and will release August 2014. Cross's all new album, $UM Body, will release around Christmas 2014. He works towards attaining his Associates of Business Administration, and signing to a Major Label, where he can gain knowledge of the industry and attain business contacts/relationships in the industry while tanking Cravin' Recordz and his career to their maximum potential.
