Crash The Bandit of Virginia drops his hot new single “Perfect” from his upcoming EP entitled “One Night.” Perfect is a fairly upbeat song that starts with a fun sample which may be familiar to many, then leads into him describing the latest “vixen” who stole his heart. Crash, as well as everybody else in Urban Max, is a hard working individual. He looks forward dropping his EP and anticipates us all to hear it. So be on the look out for that! "Crash The Bandit speaks court cases, influences & what he has in store for us"

Tell our readers a bit about yourself.

“I go by Crash or Crash The Bandit. I’m 25, from Woodbridge Virginia. I currently stay on 17K. I’ve been making music for 7 years and I’ve been recording, mixing and mastering my own songs for the past 5 Years now. I’m both the type of artist that you go listen to when you want to get hype and turn up and the artist you go to for lyrical content.”

What was your inspiration to start rapping?

“I’ve always loved music since I was a kid, my mom would play music constantly in the house at anytime of day. Because of her I’ve always listened to and liked a wide variety of music. When I was a kid my uncle gave me a bag full of cassettes and a player. So I was listening to Wu-Tang Clan, Biggie, Tupac, Crucial Conflict, N.W.A And A lot of Bone Thugs -N- Harmony.”

Are these the same influences that push you today?

“Yes because I want to make undeniable music that can be played forever. It also pushes me to make music that my mom would like to listen too. I feel like that’s one of the bigger challenges for me.”

Your mom seems to be a big influence to you and your music. Does she dig your stuff?

“Yeah she really does, she only wants me to stop cursing as much. But I make sure she gets all edited music.”

You’ve got a real strong presence on your tracks, has your style changed over the years?

“Yes and No because I’ve always tried to make my presence known either through the energy I deliver or my song content. I’ve slowed down my Rapping Pattern within the past couple of years to make sure my point is completely getting across.”

Where do you do all your recording?

“At my studio primarily, but sometimes if I’m going to do a feature or work on songs with other people I’ll go out to different studios. I just prefer my studio cause I know my sound and I simply refuse for anyone to tell me something can’t be done.”

Doing all your own recording and mixing, do you find that you have more satisfaction and pride in your end product?

“I really do because it’s completely influenced by me and it comes out exactly how I want it to. And I know each project is exactly how I want it too be and nothing less.”

What does it mean to you to be an Independent Artist?

“Freedom to create any picture how I see it without having someone influence it and the outcome. Plus I hate it when someone tells me not to record this or say that, that’s how I’m feeling at the moment so that’s what I’m going to say, plain and simple.”

You’ve recently been caught up with court cases, can you tell us a bit about that?

“Yeah I’ve just been released and been going back and forth to court for the past year and a half fighting this last drug case. I’m on federal probation with 5 Years over me.”

How has that affected your music? Has it brought out a different side of you?

“Of course, honestly it’s brought out a different type of hunger and drive when it comes to my music. I’m now recording all day because of it. I have too much to prove and this last case proven to me that I have a lot more to lose.”

We’re excited to hear new music from you, can you shed some light on what you have cooking?

“I’m currently sitting on three new mixtapes and a handful of singles and features. “One Night” will be a three part mixtape series. “Murder One” will be a mixtape where I kill both the newest and hottest songs and the classics I grew up on, under a minute. I can’t give any details on the third project it’s a collaborative project and we have some minor background details to take care of before we announce the title.”

We can’t wait. Who should we be watching from your area?

“Everybody should be on the watch for V3 the labels own Soufside Monte, he’s been grinding like crazy for the past 3 Years and he has that raw talent that the game has been missing. And Keenan Rainer from Richmond he’s super lyrical! Every time you listen to one of his songs you pick up on something that you missed the last time you’ve listened.” - WokeOnline

"VIRGINIAS’ CRASH THE BANDIT DROPS ‘BRENDA’"

We all know Virginia is buzzing with serious talent, and it’s always good to see new material flooding out. We first came across Crash The Bandit earlier this year dropping dope records just after he was released from prison. While incarcerated, Crash released his debut mixtape ‘The Sickness Exposure’ and it’s no surprise he’s back on our platform with one of his recent projects, ‘Brenda’.

Channeling inspiration from the 2000’s cult-classic film, Scary Movie, Crash illustrates his views on relationships, and his distaste for lustful women with sinful intentions. As a player in the game, he charmingly plays while demonstrating how he is able maintain his integrity, and independence when it comes to courting. The Virginia native asserts his dominance over silky-smooth production, displaying his signature rapid-fire flow with ease along with effortless breath-control. Mixed and mastered to perfection, Crash blends both a new-age hip-hop sound complimented by a 90-00s hip-hop vibe. - WokeOnline X Josh

Bio

Crash as an artist is very passionate about his craft and it has been proven by the noticeable amount of hard work and growth in his music. Crash is so dedicated to quality of his work that he'll go short periods of time between project and single releases to ensure everything is as perfect as can be. Even though his reserved appearance gives a feeling of him being uninterested. In all actually Crash is soaking in his environment, the energy from the people around him and his current situation. And once Crash has everything in a comfortable space within himself, he goes to work and forms the best music he possibly can and it shows that its worked for him time and time again.
