Bio
Taking heavy influence from genre fore-bearers such as Pentagram, Candlemass and Church of Misery, as well as home-state staples like Weedeater and Corrosion of Conformity, Cosmic Reaper found their niche within a worldwide culture of down tuned guitars and thundering riffs.
In Oct 2019 Cosmic Reaper Recorded Their Debut Release entitled "Demon Dance". Recorded and mixed with Greensboro engineer Jacob Beesen and mastered by highly acclaimed Jamie King.
The band returned to Beeson’s studio in the summer of 2020 to start
recording. Laden with droning riffs and down tempo walls of monolithic
sound, they completed their crushing Self-titled debut full length.
The start of 2021 ushers in a new and monumental era for the
guys as Cosmic Reaper becomes part of the Heavy Psych Sounds family.
