Bio
Phil Tittle is a singer-songwriter based out of Pensacola, Florida. He grew up along the dirt roads of South Georgia during the early 80s to the sounds of ZZ Top, Skynard, Waylon, and Dire Straits. He eventually left those backroads to join the United States Air Force and spent the next 22 years traveling the world with a guitar and a keen eye for his surroundings.
One thing became clear; we all want the same things out of this life and we all have a story to tell. Phil put his observations into song and even spent his GI bill on songwriting courses at Berklee School of Music. His songs are real. Some are happy, some sad, and sometimes the bad guys win. His songs deviate from the spoon-fed lyrics currently in vogue. Phil thinks his listeners are smarter than that.
In 2019 at age 50, Phil released his first album, “All Over the Map” under the stage name Colt Weston He has performed at 3rd Street Songwriter Festival in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Ozone songwriters’ festival in Mandeville, Louisiana and is looking forward to traveling to other festivals throughout the year. He plans to enter the studio at the end of the year to work on his next project, a four song EP titled “The Truth in Me,” his first effort using his given name.
