San Diego-based dance music producer Cole-Man has unveiled his new single "Don't Be Scared," a four-on-the-floor progressive jam that moonlights as a melodic journey through the many sub-genres of future house.
Kicking things off with minimalistic pads and fluttering arpeggios, Cole-Man introduces a rhythmic kick and snare pattern before filtering in spacey vocal chops. Those samples all coalesce into a gritty build, which culminates in a melodic house drop that employs the rave-ready leads of early trance music. All-in-all, the single is a smooth house bop that yearns for the nightclubs of pre-pandemic yesteryear.
Cole-Man's "Don't Be Scared" dropped on July 20th, 2020 via an independent release. You can listen to the track in full below - EDM.com

Bio
Within the first 2 months of making music, I had released my first single,"Shake That", with the record label BassCamp Music, which now has over 600,000 streams on Spotify. Since then, I've continued to make music everyday and have garnered media praise while amassing north of 2.5 million Spotify streams across all my releases. Last year, I had a collaboration with viral TikTok singer Donzell Taggart (3m followers) which resulted in the bitterly sweet track I wrote and produced called, “Who I Thought You Were.” As of recent, I finally just released my latests singles, Bass Maker and The One. I'll be releasing new songs later in 2022 with some awesome collaborations as well!
I've also had a packed schedule of shows since things opened up from Covid-19 in late 2021. I was soon playing 2+ shows a weekend at all the major clubs in San Diego. This quickly landed me a residency at a top nightclub in Downtown San Diego, Bloom Nightclub! I've also played countless other clubs in San Diego including the main stage at Insomniac's Nova Nightclub as well as Bass Camp Festival with over 35,000 people in Nevada. I've played alongside major artists such as; Slander, Party Favor, Marten Horger, Destructo, Adventure Club, Flux Pavillion, Wolfgang Gartner, Dillon Nathaniel, Freak On, and many more.
