Bio
The 23-year-old Nebraska native Cole Harris brings country music back to its roots spinning vivid tales of whiskey and women in a classic style, all the while throwing in an element of Rock and Roll. The singer/songwriter recorded his first album, entitled, "The Long Way Around" in the summer of 2018 with Grammy-nominee producer Wes Sharon at 115 Recording Studios in Norman, Oklahoma. Sharon is also known for his success in producing for acts such as John Fullbright, American Aquarium, and Turnpike Troubadours. As a matter of fact, two members of Turnpike Troubadours, Hank Early and Gabe Pearson, contributed to the instrumentation of the record, which helped to give the rocking feel while still staying within the realm of traditional country music.
A U.S. Air Force veteran, Cole Harris has served in the Kansas Air National Guard for six years since the beginning of his enlistment in high school. Harris hails from the small town of Hebron, Nebraska, and has grown up with music, and began songwriting at the age of 16. Major influences of Harris's style are Johnny Cash, Evan Felker, and Tyler Childers.
