Bio
Beer, Bar Rooms, and Broken Hearts; Cody Williams has crafted his own unique sound, blending traditional country music story telling with an "in your face" attitude. Raised on a cattle ranch in Okeechobee, FL, Williams' music paints the portrait of life in a small town. He sings of hard times and good times in a place where cowboys still ride horses to work and then head into town on Saturday night to raise hell at the local watering hole. If it sounds like Cody has lived it, well.....After a few years of singing around camp fires and at parties Cody hit the local music scene in the summer of 2014. His first release, "Whiskey Bottle Save My Soul" was an instant fan favorite. Then, his follow up single, "Circle of Love," where the lyrics: "My Ex is kissing my best friend," sound too familiar to many, received the same type of fan response making Cody Williams a household name in and around the Okeechobee area. Cody is currently working on his first album with Oklahoma native and producer Mike McClure which has produced albums for cross Canadian ragweed turnpike troubadours and many other artist. That album should be ready to be released by the fall of 2016.
