Kenzie McKenzie

Imagine for a moment that Portishead, Bjork, and Imogen Heap
were to have a gay baby. That baby would be Hotel Radio. A mixture of trip-hop,
electronic, with a splash of classical instrumentation. Created
by Kenzie McKenzie, a female producer, musician and visual artist.

Kenzie began making music fourteen years ago in a small
coal mining town in Southern Utah. Since then she has transformed from a back
woods acoustic artist evolving into the leader of a Denver based psychedelic
rock band, and is now riding the wave of the Seattle electronic movement. While
on stage Kenzie tap dances her way across her RC-50 Loop station
while balancing the harmony and melodies of the guitar, vocals and keyboard.

On July 11, 2013 Hotel
Radio released her three-year long project "Tided of Sin". This EP
has been a collaboration with Peter Ellis and John Kopczyk. Peter Ellis, a
Seattle native with a Bachelor's in performance from University of Michigan, is
currently pursuing a Masters of Music at University of Washington.  John
Kopczyk is a founding member of Annex Of Soul Music and Mile High House Denver.
John released with Annex Of Soul on Low Rise Recordings SF.

The release of Tides of Sin was featured on Seattles Top 10 things to Do, and soon
after Hotel Radio was featured as a top 40 band in Seattle, WA on Reverbnation.com.
The summer of 2013, Hotel Radio hit the road with a 10 day west coast tour, starting
in Oregon and ending with a series of shows in San Francisco.

Currently, Kenzie McKenzie
resides in Boulder, Colorado where she is writing, creating, and playing local
shows. In the future Hotel Radio hopes to re-emerge in the Denver scene once
again, and continue touring.
