Bio
For the Last month and a half Hip-Hop emcee/rap artist Chillio Willio has been in the process of re-recording another full version of his upcoming studio album “I Came Up Fast”. Previously intended for release in 2017 but was pushed back by artist himself to put forward sophomore LP “This What the Bottom Sound Like 2”. That decision was made due to the local success of First tape “This What the Bottom Sound Like 1”, which sold over 1,500 copies to date.
Now ready to bring forth this well balanced street/urban album, Chillio has been making sure that the quality of this project is in head to head competition with major music industry brands. Chillio started the year off with releasing 4 singles this year so far. “They Don’t Really Love Me” is a heart felt real life drama where the artist takes you on a ride from his home being invaded by SWAT in late March of this year all the way through to his feelings of revenge for his cousin Anthony’s murderer in which he details thoughts of wanting to shoot up the transport bus heading to imprison the female killer. When asked why did he put that in a rap song I quote “I will never shoot up a state prison bus or any bus in that matter because that would be a suicide mission for my own life’s sake. At the time I wrote the lyrics I wanted to express how I really felt inside at that time and therefore kept it raw and uncut. I wanted to be felt just like many other families of murdered victims. I was just venting and wouldn’t advise anyone to take the law into their own hands literally”
“Ballin for the Weekend” is a sure club banging anthem that introduces his protégé Diamond Diva of Florida. Her opening line is phenomenal “Yeah bitch get it straight I’m not from the hood” letting critics know you don’t have to come from a certain area to have hard hitting bars. Promotion on this song was delayed until the young Diamond Diva is done nursing her first pregnancy. Look for video later this fall.
“What’s Good Wit Cha” is urban tale of loyalty betrayal and becoming a man with or without a squad.
“Pushing big Blocks” is an old school car lover’s dream song. “ My old school Pushing Big Blocks” is just as simple as the title. Rapper expressing his love for big block American made engines. Sure Fire song.
All tracks are available on all streaming networks.
“I Came Up Fast” LP will be between 10-14 tracks currently the old material has been either remade or taken off to fit within the modern sounding age we are in at this point. Release date has not been set in stone but A 1st quarter 2019 date is in the works.
