CHILDREN OF ADAM BAND is an audience favorite riveting 14 member musical ensemble that performs all original “PMB” Positive Message Bearing Music. Their music is a uniquely original sound birthed within a lane they have carved. The sound is a new world music hybrid, an ever-evolving fusion of RnB, jazz, funk, African, Latin, and Middle Eastern with a splash of American Soul! While you will discover the Children of Adam Band under the genres of World and Jazz on global music platforms, COA has carved its own sub-genre of PMB. The songs contain positive universal themes including respect for Mothers, anti-bullying, the universal commonality of humanity and the need for tolerance. Lyrics are both in English and various African dialects. Mesmerizing performances incorporate video imagery and a spectacular female “whirling dervish dancer.” Audiences can’t remain seated!

COMING - Dec 20, 2021 Children of Adam Band will release their sophomore album TIMBUKTU: The Human Journey featuring memorial THE PANDEMIC PRAYER. The Pandemic Prayer is a multi-sensory experience blurring between Michael Jackson's "We Are the World" and Pearl Cleage's "Say Their Name."

Children of Adam Band's refreshingly positive unique sound and performances have become an audience favorite. COA's hit song "Come Togehter" is featured on the renowed WKDU's 50th Anniversary Compilation https://wkdu.bandcamp.com/album/wkdu-friends-a-50th-anniversary-compilation. The COVID-19 shutdown did not shut COA out. Outside of producing its 20 track sophmore album, COA's videos have been featured on more than ten international virtual concerts since May of 2020.

In existence for almost three years, COA’s performance highlights include the main stage on the Philadelphia Waterfront (Penn’s Landing) for the 2018 Islamic Heritage ICPIC Festival, at the World Cafe Live for 2019 PHL Live World Music Showcase, the Pennsylvania Museum in Harrisburg, PA, and Georgetown University in Fairfax, VA. Upcoming performances include a return to Islamic Heritage ICPIC Festival in June 2020 and in April Philadelphia Celebrates Jazz and the International Spring Festival in Lansdale, PA.
