Bio
Chaislyn Jane is an up and coming singer/songwriter and an acoustic cover artist from Baton Rouge, Louisiana (see set list.) She has an edgy yet angelic voice. Her original music is a mix of folk, Americana and pop. She began writing in 2018 and has won awards for her music and songwriting. A musical theater kid for most of her life, her path changed when she won a local singing contest (Bayou Idol 2017) and then received the golden ticket for American Idol and competed in the 2018 season.
She can be found singing at many local and surrounding area restaurants each weekend. View availability calendar. She has also performed at local festivals and events, and opened for a national touring group for the first time in August 2019 receiving a standing ovation at the end of her set.
Chaislyn Jane is charming, witty and engaging. She is a lively speaker and storyteller as well as songwriter and singer.
