Born in Morganton NC, raised between there and Greensboro NC, and currently residing in Spartanburg SC. CeeJ has established himself as a voice for the Carolina's. Having a lyrical presence that challenges listeners to keep the essence of Hip Hop alive. CeeJ brings style and a certain confidence that resonates with his audience as authentic and transparent. This is the basis of his music and ministry as he thrives on having an open heart approach as an artist.
After releasing his latest project "HEAVY" which debuted at #42 on Christian Album Sales Billboard Charts and #10 on Heatseekers South Atlantic Billboard Chart, CeeJ has been highly touted and recognized as an independent artist. Headlining the "Address The Room" college tour across the South East region, and releasing a series of free verse's videos, and music videos that have accumulated hundreds of thousands of views on social media platforms; CeeJ is a reminder of how powerful words, and story telling on beats still remains. CeeJ is also the CEO/Founder of BARS Academy which gives students the opportunity to learn Branding, Artistry, Recording and Songwriting while channeling emotions through arts and media.
