"Ottawa/Toronto recording artist "Cast In Cadence" is a solo project originally constructed by singer/songwriter/drummer/guitarist, Ryan MacIntyre who was heavily influenced by 90's pop rock alternative, grunge and punk.
After years of writing/recording basement demos, performing/recording with many local bands, Ryan recorded his debut EP titled "Serotonin" performing almost every instrument himself. Since its release in the spring of 2010, and after enlisting the talents of some of Ottawa's top musicians, Cast In Cadence is no longer a solo project but a captivating, energy packed touring band who's' live show is not to be missed!
Some of Cast In Cadence members highlights include: recording with one of Canada's top producers Ken Friesen who was assistant engineer on The Tragically Hip's multi platinum selling album "Phantom Power", opening for the likes of Tokyo Police Club, The Weighlers, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs on the main stage at Ottawa's Bluesfest, a cross-Canada tour, headlining act at the "Meet in Beijing Festival" in Beijing China 2010, featured artist in "UMM Magazine", and recently Cast In Cadence has spent weeks at #1 on the CJLX radio indie charts in Belleville Ontario."
