Bio

Storyteller.

Wordsmith.

Performer.

Born Marcus Morris, Casper has taken his negative past and used those experiences to manifest a successful music career that unites the underdogs and outsiders.

Like ammunition in a gun, Casper’s spits fire lyrics with passion and conviction. His incredible introspective on life, creates music that is authentic and honest; telling a story based on his own life experiences.

After the passing of his mother at the age of 12, Casper started surfing from foster home to foster home; eventually moving to London, Ontario at age 14.

At 16, his life spun out of control landing him homeless, struggling through poverty, dealing with a drug addiction and involved with violence. Through it all, it was music that kept Casper’s head above water and led him to get his life back on track by focusing on honing his craft and recording music.

In 2010, Casper received a blessing that brought positivity back to his life.  The birth of his daughter, Marlee, brought motivation and purpose to his music career and life. He formed the record label Treetop Entertainment, releasing numerous tracks and supporting the trajectory of other artists.

With a captivating stage presence, Casper has performed over 100 shows with various hip-hop legends; he has won numerous North American freestyle competitions, represented Canada at International music festivals and has received several awards and nomination for his works. And he’s just getting started.

The release of his much-anticipated album “We Hate Marcus” will drop in the fall of 2019.  This album will coincide with the release of “GET UP” - a feel good anthem, in collaboration with Julia Haggarty and Alex Emrich. Casper has also aligned himself with other artists like Saveria and Merkules, just to name a few, to place an exclamation point on 2019.
