Bio
Carter Lezman is a singer-songwriter from Holland, Michigan, with a selection of music that can best be identified as a mix of acoustic, folk, and a small bit of pop.
Carter began playing music using a trumpet in the 5th grade band at his school. Very shortly after joining the school band, Carter found a passion to play music and decided to pick up the guitar as a hobby. After a few years of practice, he decided to try out for the church worship team, as well as play in a few garage bands. His high school years were filled with musical opportunity, including being drum major of his school band, worship leader for his youth group, and a weekly member of the church worship team.
Currently, Carter is working on his first professional EP at Planet5 Studios, to be released in the fall. This project will have six of his original songs, which were inspired and written during his college years.
Carter attributes his success to his hard work, his dedication, and his faith. His family and friends have also played a large role in adding to his success. Looking ahead, Carter's hopes to travel and play his music for anyone and everyone who will listen.
