Captain’s Savvy Singalong Crew is a professional musical act that prides itself on celebrating the diverse aspects of otaku and nerd pop culture. The group uses music and comedy as a way to share their love for all things geek-chic while engaging their fans and audience. All performances are accompanied by lyrical presentations in order to encourage fans to sing along. Originating in Southern California, the band started as a passion project from lead vocalist Samuel “Captain” Khosravi. After a successful debut at Anime Conji in 2013, the band started attracting various musicians to their line up including Christion McGowan, Rin Moeslie, Becky Booth, & Jeremy Bergstrom. CSSC has now been featured at several conventions and local specialized events.
