Bio
Born in 1995 in Memphis, Tennessee, electronic music artist Adam Lochemes began producing music at the young age of 14. Being influenced by the sounds bands such as MuteMath, and Porter Robinson, he began to radically expand upon these artists’ music by using Ableton Live. After a few years of learning how to sound design, produce, and engineer his music, under his alias Captain Munch he took on his life long friend, Chandler Snipes, to start putting out their music and remixes on the internet. Along with his new parter by his side to for music business advise and musical input, their remix of “Sea of Voices” by Porter Robinson got a couple thousand listens over the course of a few months on Soundcloud. The following months included the two playing at iconic spring break hotspots, such as Nightown and Club La Vela during the college’s spring break. After deciding to settle down and write an album, the two put their heads together and wrote, “Departure From the Norm” during the summer of 2014. After completing the album and releasing it during the Winter months, they went on to play along side acts such as Cash Cash, Riff Raff, and Archnemisis during the spring months. After playing their final show together at Backwoods Music Festival in Oklahoma, the two decided to part ways to explore personal endeavors. Now alone, Adam is released his single entitled "Don't Let Go feat. Stephen Day" on December 25, 2015. With this release underneath his belt, Adam is planning on working in collaboration with RUUX music to put out "Lost in Time (feat. J-Spin)" a single they released with great success. After playing with more acts like Kryoman, Adam is planning on playing Backwoods Music Festival and other venues across the country, while also releasing new music and remixes.
