Calumon

Calumon is a versatile rock band whose focus is on mesmerizingly crushing guitar lines and potent, stimulating lyrics delivered in a soul-full manner. Liam Atkinson fronts the band, delivering witty and imaginative lyrics with his gristly, yet caressing voice, while gallivanting about the stage with the grace and fluidity of Morrissey. Collectively they assemble riffs, hooks, and solos with the precision and aggression of a world-class rugby squad. The rhythm section of Christian Bergeron and Erek Croteau hold the controlled chaos of the melody together with tight bass grooves and syncopated beats reminiscent of early Queensryche. To add the whipped-cream and sprinkles to this sundae of rock, Erek Croteau lends his abilities as a saxophonist to the band to facilitate jazzy and ska-esque elements to their hard rock sound.
