Cafe LaMotta

Cafe LaMotta is a four piece, synth-driven, rock band from Baltimore, Maryland. The skilled musicians who comprise the band have caught the attention of local music-goers by performing an irresistible set which includes songs that can be found on their self-titled debut EP released in 2012, and also on the latest to date EP which is titled Nobodys Gonna Dance. Their sound is often described as a tasteful blend of current touring acts such Two-Door Cinema Club, The Rapture, We Are Scientists, Arctic Monkeys, and Vampire Weekend.

Dave Suhomlin is the creative mind behind the bands unforgettable songs, as well as its very capable singer and guitarist. His brother, Mike Suhomlin, is the youthful energy of the band whose stage presence suggests that hes as happy to be dancing as he is to be playing bass. Their childhood friend, Eric EB Brosh, is the rhythmic soul of the band. He's known for laying down pulsing, danceable beats, and for delivering some of the flashiest live drumming that can be found in the area. Antonio Hitch Sharp, a late addition to the band, was found aboard a party bus with a mutual group of friends in transit to Washington D.C. He handles the ever-important duties of the synthesizer and keyboards, which is largely responsible for the groups distinct sound.

In the upcoming months, we will continue to play shows in the Baltimore area and will also be taking our act on the road for some out of state shows.
