"B. Snair & Vincent Tesoro Are A Unique Breath Of Fresh Air!"

MusoSoup Artist Interview

Who are the band members and what do they play?
B. Snair - Guitar, Bass, Drums, Piano, Synth, Producer, Engineer. Vincent Tesoro - Vocals, Co-Producer

How and where did you get together?
We met a show in 2019 in Londonderry NH where I was performing with Ethyric & B. Snair and my Music Collective Minds Of One Collective Genius.

What are the band's main influences?
Overcoming trauma and challenges, personal development, sprituality, helping other level up their lives. Music influences are vast and range from Blink 182, Stick Figure, Grateful Dead, 21 Pilots, Sum 41, Mayday, Tom Petty, Matt Maeson, Jack Kays, Twiddle, Oliver Tree, Rebelution, Abhi The Nomad, Sum 41, Mayday, Tech n9ne, Justin Clancy, Big Daddy Kane, Nas, Black Thought, Treehouse, Krizz Kaliko and many more!

Have you played any notable gigs, festivals or other events? Likewise radio or TV appearances?
This band is brand new but we have both been playing shows and events for years with other acts and as solo Artists. I have played a sold out Headline show as "Ethyric & B. Snair". Performed a Tedx Talk about Addiction & Recovery, Played for 10,000 Candles for Suicide Awareness, Cancer Free Ceremony at The Payson Center, Performed for The Special Olympics, and more.

Are there any other interesting or amusing happenings – no matter how small – that the band have been involved with that would be of interest to those who like your music?
Our music has been created while being 2 and a half hours apart so nearly everything was done separately and sent back and forth until completion. I also almost died in a massive propane explosion in March of 2022. Life threatening injuries and severe 2nd and 3rd degree burns, shattered hip, 5 pelvis fractures, a broken tailbone, and both my hands were badly 3rd degree burned and required skin grafting. I mad the choice I wasn't going to let anything stop me from playing guitar and creating music! Manifested Dreams is the culmination and determination, hard work, and believing in yourself. My first single of many songs to be
released in the coming months and early 2024

Do you have any favorable quotes from previous reviews of the band that you'd be happy to share?
Wow is there any genre that you don't do? - Bars Over Bars Media speaking about Vincent Tesoro and his versatility blending genres such as hip-hop, rock, punk, pop, and alternative music.

Where was the single/EP/album recorded and who was involved in its production?
All music was Self Recorded and produced by B. Snair at my home studio in NH. The vocals were written and recorded by Vincent Tesoro in Weymouth MA. Mixed by Michael Vieira in RI and Mastered by Shane Violette of Loud House Audio in SC.

Is there a particular ethos behind the single/EP/album or any particular music styles or events that inspired it?
As mentioned above my near death experience and trials and tribulations led to the creation of "Manifested Dreams". The Artwork symbolizes the struggles we all go through in life. The demons reaching out from the sky represent all the negativity and evil we deal with in the world and must overcome and not allow to get ahold of us.

Can you briefly describe what the song/each song is about?
Manifested Dreams is the culmination and determination, hard work, and believing in yourself. It's about never giving up on your dreams and actively pursuing them every single day. Pushing yourself to be better than you were yesterday, every single day.

Were there any notable or amusing happenings surrounding the recording/production of the EP?
The song was created and recorded while both Artists were in different states where they live. I have had 12 surgeries in the last 19 months including 6 hand surgeries. Many times there were setbacks waiting for me to heal from surgery and recover as well as over a year of Therapy to try and use my hands again for daily life and music and playing instruments.

Please provide a one or two-line personal quote that can be attributed to a band member, about either the band themselves or the release
"Life is short, cherish every moment as if it's your last. Fate only holds it's grip so tight, you can always change your life" - B. Snair - MusoSoup

Discography

Manifested Dreams - Debut Single

We Manifested all our dreams
I manifest these dreams
When I'm living out my destiny
No life ain't what it seems
Like a pill of exctasy
Nobody believes in me
I was born to evolve been Following the North Star
Underneath the frequency
I've been praying up to God Putting faith in the lawd ya
Since I know he got a plan for me

I manifest these dreams
When I'm living out my destiny
No life ain't what it seems
Like a pill of exctasy
Ohhh ohhh
Even though the flask is empty the glass is full

I'm at this rooftop hotel
But I'm bout to jump
Taking a shot and I'm praying to God and saying goodbye to
Those I love
See a sunset and think about a better Day
Take a second to myself then I step Away
I could of been arrested and sent Into a section
Been dead in the flesh
Never the less it could worse
Finding my purpose climbing and Searching try to reverse it is it a Curse

I manifest these dreams
When I'm living out my destiny
No life ain't what it seems
Like a pill of exctasy
Ohhh ohhh
Even though the flask is empty the Glass is full

Is it a blessing or a curse
Manifested and it worked
And I'm still on the search
The journey of self worth

On this journey of suicide and disturbing times
I'm trying to fertilize discernment When I prefer to die and when I'm 3 and 9 and Burdens rise
I'm thinking I'm villainized and Missing the kid that is still aligned That I minimized
Is it a blessing or a curse
Even on my worst day I'm still Alive

I manifest these dreams
When I'm living out my destiny
No life ain't what it seems
Like a pill of exctasy
Ohhh ohhh
Even though the flask is empty the Glass is full
