Bio
New England singer/songwriter Brian Jarvis entices listeners with a captivating honesty and a voice drawing comparisons to Mat Kearney and Matt Nathanson. Whether performing solo with his 6-string or on stage with singer-guitarist Lee Sylvestre, Jarvis has been building a fan base that reaches across genres.
His 2012 debut record Beautifully Broken offers songs about life struggles with heartfelt introspection and lifted by bright melodies. What unfolds is a view of his own painful scars that conveys that life and love are all still worth it. Jarvis composed the music during a period that included the loss of his father and a tough break up. "The songs are earnest, his voice is strong, and both the sentiment and message are genuine", says The Republican.
Brian Jarvis has toured the US with Carly Simon-collaborator Brendan James, and on support for chart-topping artists Andy Grammer ("Keep Your Head Up") and Rachel Platten("Fight Song"). In 2017, Jarvis is releasing his newest record and will be touring with indie rock recording artist, Howie Day. Check out Brian on Spotify.
