Breezy directed the music video for U.G.L.Y.'s debut single, "REDD"—and E! News has exlusively obtained behind-the-scenes footage of the Grammy winner lending his expertise to the chill-pop trio, whose name stands for "Under Greatness Lies You."
And under this video, described as "hauntingly intense," lies Brown, whose finished product premieres Monday on MTV2.

"We're a melting pot of music," explains guitarist Braxton, who has toured with 30 Seconds to Mars and Ashlee Simpson. "It's a cross section of R&B, reggae, punk, electronic music, and all of our other influences. The goal is to reach as many people as possible. We're pushing boundaries and incorporating so many styles into what we do."
Braxton's mates include 2009 Miss Teen USA Stormi Henley and Mijo, one of the featured performers in David LaChapelle's 2005 documentary Rize.
And the trio were in strong hands: Brown has lent his eye to a number of his own videos, codirecting "Kiss Kiss," "Turn Up the Music" and "Fine China," among others. - E
Under Greatness Lies You, or U.G.L.Y, have found an enthusiastic mentor in fellow BMI member Chris Brown, who not only signed the chill-pop trio to his label, but also directed the video for their debut single, “REDD.” With Mijo on the keyboards, Braxton on guitar, and former Miss Teen USA Stormi Henley on lead vocals, U.G.L.Y have been impressing audiences with their mash-up of R&B, reggae, punk and electronic sounds. Recently selected as BMI’s Pick of the Month act, the trio also opened up for Brown in Hawaii and has set up shop in Los Angeles, landing a residency in local club Los Globos, playing Hollywood hot spot Bardot and getting loyal fans all around the country to enthusiastically wear T-shirts branding themselves as U.G.L.Y. With Sevyn Streeter out the gate, Chris Brown introduces CBE’s next act, U.G.L.Y. (Under Greatness Lies You). The electro-bass trio, made up of Mijo, Braxton Olita, and female singer Stormi Henley, steps into the spotlight with their genre-bending debut EP DMT.
The six tracks, produced and written by the trio themselves, combine elements of R&B, reggae, punk, and electronic music. They nod to ’90s alternative on “Light One Up” and mix R&B with gritty bass on “FairyTale.”
“Think of it as a festival experience. You’re going to hear the best of each genre in one place,” says Braxton, while Mijo adds, “We wanted to start a movement or culture for creativity and positivity. The idea is that you can do anything you want. Be as epic and as fly as you want to be.”
