"Boome Mr Dreamz Magazine 2014 Rookie of The Year"

Give us a little history about yourself. Where are you from and what was your life and your grind before 2013?

Well here it is my name is Boome from Boome & The Skywalkers. I’m from Marietta, Ga I currently reside in Dallas, Tx and travel any and everywhere this beautiful music takes me. Before my huge music year in 2013 I was actually building and perfecting my sound and touring all over the states on a smaller scale.

Space Jamz Vol.2 is your new baby! Use 3 words to describe the new album?

Powerful, Inspiring, Futuristic

When did you fall in love with astronomy and everything around space?

To be perfectly honest if I tried to name all the planets I would probably miss a couple. The reason Im so drawn to space and astronomy is the endless possibilities. I have so much appreciation that us as human beings had the intelligence and will power to travel over 200 thousand miles outside the earth. To me that’s the definition of anything is possible, when I look at my dreams and goals I take on the same attitude no matter how far the distance its just a number.

Why did you choose “Ride My Bike to The Moon” as your first lead single?

What’s funny about that is “Ride My Bike to The Moon” was actually the last song I recorded for this album. My manager and I (Louie Maldonado) were actually perfectly happy with the whole album before ride my bike. 2 days before the album was finalized I was watching the movie E.T. with my son and for those familiar with the film the little boy actually rides his bike levitating with the moon as the backdrop. So Steven Spielberg and Melissa Mathison thank you for the inspiration, the feedback for this record is been crazy definitely glad it made the album. - Mr Dreamz Magazine

"Boome Fresh Magazine Freshest Artist of 2013"

1.) My hometown is Marietta, Ga about 15 minutes north of Atlanta, Ga. But I currently live in Dallas, Tx.

2.) Boome as a kid was a very sporty kid like a lot of other kids played football and basketball with friends in the neighborhood. My mom said I would always try to be the leader of the crew, she thought it was funny. Thing is I wasn’t trying to be the leader I would just show so much passion in what I liked that my friends would agree it was the thing to do.

3.I got into music when I was younger when my mom bought my older brother this little yamaha keyboard. He picked it up and learned to play it in like a week I started to mess with it but was no good at it, but I always had a passion for writing I even enjoyed writing school papers. So I guess my passion for writing finally met my brothers passion for music. My teen years I think I discovered I had personality way before my music talent kicked in. I think I realized I had something when I was at this party and I free style battled this kid because he was picking on this other kid. He was rapping on some gangsta shit, so I think I said something like “You rapping about crack and pills, nigga you 16 mommy and daddy still pay your bills” the party went crazy!!! Funny my young corny bars, but I was no lyricist then I was 16 years old and just stating the obvious and the crowd went crazy. That moment was kind of magical I guess, specially for a 16 year old.

4.) Boome & The Skywalkers is not a group, we don’t sit in the studio together and come up with boy band anthems, lol. I am a solo artist and The Skywalker thing it’s a movement, the Skywalkers consists of me, 3D my main producer & Billy C my official DJ. Being a Skywalker its a way of life and we all represent different aspects of the spectrum. Fly free, live free, and die free!!! Skywalkers!! - Fresh Magazine

"Boome, The Skywalkers"

Every record of Boome’s has told a genuine story and now the screams of the underdogs are finally being heard! We introduce you the leader of the Skywalker Pack Boome a.k.a. Citizen Kane. Raised in Marietta, GA 15 minutes north of Atlanta, known to many as the music capital of the south, the desire of music creation naturally came calling!

After many years in the industry, Boome has emerged as a force to be reckoned with in 2014 playing over a 100 shows with Macklemore, Juicy J, MGK, Kid Ink, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Paul Wall, and many more. His music seems to be light years ahead from the present with a very futuristic feel and political innuendos that spark the mind! Amazing talent and the desire to have his voice heard has led to huge features in Fresh Magazine as Freshest Artist 2013, True Magazine I Got Next, Mr. Dreamz 2014 Rookie of The Year, and now Hip Hop Weekly’s Next To Blow! Boome has broken the limits of independent artistry and is now turning it up a notch to let the world hear the screams of the underdog! - RudeBoy Magazine

"Boome Hip Hop Weekly "Next to Blow""

Fresh off the “Boost Mobile Rock The Bells Tour” as the official openers for Bone Thugs-N-Harmony The Astronauts of music come to you “Boome & The Skywalkers”. I am already 5 shows deep in it and man its been the greatest experience of my music career thus far.  The “Rock The Bells Tour” its a huge deal last year’s line up included everybody from Nas, Ice Cube, J.Cole, Wiz Khalifa, Too Short, E40, Asap Rocky, etc...& now for us to be etched in history with those names its an honor...-Boome - Hip Hop Weekly

"Boome True Magazine I Got Next"

1.)My name is Boome and I rep Marietta, Ga 15 min north of Atlanta, Ga.

2.)My stage name Boome actually was given to me from one my middle school football coaches reason being I was one of the smallest guys on the team but I would go against the biggest dudes on the team with no fear, so he called me Freddy Boom Boom, so when I transition to high school and college it became just Boome. Through some research I later came to find out that Freddy Boom Boom was actually a very famous Rock & Roll artist from the 50’s I guess the musical connection is kind of ironic.

3.) I got my start in Hip Hop through my brother he was always very passionate about music as a whole listening and playing instruments. He loved playing this little Yamaha keyboard that my mom bought him in the 90’s, and as a pre teen I loved to write about any and everything. So I guess it was only a matter of time before the words on my page found their way to the music. I became addicted with just listening for a while, I was fascinated with artists story telling skills like Lauryn Hill, Outkast, Wu Tang, Tupac and Biggie of course.

4.) I was blessed to work with Houston Rap Legend Lil Flip on a huge record called Game Time, I wrote the record and he dropped a super dope verse on it. He took time out of his touring schedule to come get in the studio with me so I thought that was mad respect. Opening up for B.O.B. was amazing he was just starting to heat up at the time, that boy is Grammy nominated now so that lets me know my time is coming sooner than later. Dream big and work even bigger to make it a reality. Today in fact I woke up happy from an amazing show I had last night in Dallas, so my manager Louie calls me at the crack of dawn and tells me that Bone Thugs & Harmony wanted me to be their official opener for their 20th anniversary Tour. Man those dudes are some fucking legends one of my all time favorite hip hop groups ever, so that’s means a lot to me that they reached out to me. Back on the road in 4 days touring with my favorite Hip Hop group I would definitely say save me a grammy, will be there soon to pick it up. - True Magazine

"Juicy J & Boome @Trees Dallas"

On Friday night, Juicy J got the sold-out crowd at Trees as 'turnt up' as you'd expect fans of the invigorated former Three 6 Mafia MC to be. The venue was packed at 8 p.m., despite Juicy J not even performing until 12:30. Security was tight, but that didn't prevent a few scuffles from breaking out. Still, the crowd still showed love for most of the night.
With his dreads bouncing, Boome put on an especially impressive performance. His set consisted mostly of songs from his newest album, Space Jamz 2, and lasted about forty minutes. Wearing jeans and a "Mess with Texas" tank top (which he soon threw into the crowd), Boome played his own hits, like "Jimy Hendrix" and "Ride My Bike to the Moon," as well as "Juicy." During his set, he popped open a few bottles of champagne and splashed it on the crowd and threw dollar bills into the crowd.

Hyro da Hero and "Juicy J's prodigy" Marcus Cruz, a Texas native, also impressed the crowd with their sets.

But the real fun started after midnight, when the curtains opened and Memphis' Juicy J shouted, "Before we start the show, does anybody want something to drink?!" He then started pouring champagne into the mouths of some fans and splashing it into the crowd, which he did throughout the show.

Wearing all black except for his shiny chains and watch, the Academy Award winner played hits from throughout his almost twenty-year career, but the songs were largely from his latest album, Stay Trippy.

Juicy J, born Jordan Houston, got the crowd especially hyped early on, when he spit his verse off B.o.B's "We Still in This Bitch." At one point, he stood with one foot on stage and his other foot on the front railing, getting close with the crowd.
The crowd loved turning up as much as Juicy does, going nuts every time Juicy J asked who loves to drink and smoke. After spitting lines like "All I do is smoke weed and rhyme" in songs like "All I Blow Is Loud," Juicy J asked the crowd for some weed, and Juicy J accepted a joint from one of the many crowd members eagerly offering theirs. He tweeted after the show, "Dallas tx I love you all! Thx u for the weed." - Dallas Observer

"Boome on The Daily Dose"

1. So Boome & The Skywalkers Co-Headlining The Stay Trippy Tour with Juicy J That’s huge! How does it feel?

I mean of course every time I get a chance to hit the road with a hip hop legend it’s just another blessing! I’ve been a genuine fan of Juicy since his early Three 6 Mafia days, now he is peaking major heights as a solo artist. For me the feeling is I belong here, I’ve been doing this for a while now and shared some big stages with some big name artists. Just this year alone we have 36 shows under our belt including joining Bone Thugs-N-Harmony on the legendary “Rock The Bells” Tour, opened up for Macklemore, Paul Wall, J.Cole, Big Krit, Mickey Avalon and the list goes on…..”Stay Trippy” can’t wait! I’m excited and ready to turn all the way up for the fans!!!
2. So rumored release date is Nov.19th for your Space Jamz 2 Album, true or false? And how would you describe the overall sound?
Its definitely official Tuesday! November 19th is an official Skywalker Holiday and Space Jamz 2 hit stores, pick it up on iTunes!!! This album is a very special one Lyrically and is on another level. I definitely challenge ANY critic to find a better album this year! I felt very confident in the creation process, I dug deep as always, and told some deep stories with songs like “Manifest Destiny”. I also took on a best of the best mentality with a record of mine B.R.A. which stands for Best Rapper Alive, I embrace that Michael Jordan killer instinct. Of course I’m always a pilot with my words so I navigate the fans through some special places.
3. Earlier this month a track called “The Motivator” leaked Do you have a favorite song on the album?
I can honestly say I do not, reason being I didn’t slack on any records! I left it all in the booth and gave everything I had on every song. I was super picky with my production, no forced feelings I wanted every record to feel natural. As far as The Motivator goes, man even when I perform it now I still get chills, its a super powerful track the kind of shit that Lebron would listen to before the NBA championship! There is 13 tracks on the album and they could all fight each other and I wouldn’t have an idea who would win. They all portray a different emotion and all tell a story that will change and motivate somebody’s life, at the end that’s all that counts. Space Jamz 2 November 19th…. Get it on iTunes!!! - Daily Dose

"Boome Drops 8793"

Boome #8793 Album
“Everything That I Do” is the first single off your new album #8793. Tell us the concept behind the visual.
The visual has a huge fi lm vibe to it. I always want to have a creative journey behind every visual. So the opening shot to the video is a get away scene with me narrating it. The story is told backwards, I wanted the viewer to be in tune the whole time. It’s literally a mini action fi lm, fast cars, guns, and a dope plot.

Let’s talk about the album artwork? Who did design it? And why did you choose this animal face?
The Album art was a concept that splits 2 different energies half man and half wolf. It was to portray both sides of my mind, Gold Coyote who is a Dope artist based out of Dallas did the cover.

You have already performed with so many great artists… Now it’s about to be with Tyga and Kevin Gates…
Man we’re planning to do a few diff erent tours with this one, as you mentioned we have a solid boost off with The Tyga Tour. We’re only looking to get stronger and expand from this album. We have a huge tour announcement that we quite can’t announce just yet, but will make sure we get it to y’all first.

Other than good lyrics and hot beats, What does #8793 bring to the table?
This 8793 Album has a very special feel to it. I put so much thought in every song, I wanted every song to be a journey and that’s exactly how it turned out. The 2 part concept covers both energies of the mind, the dark and the light. I’m impacting as always, but I’m doing it in a new way.

What do the numbers 8793 stand for? 8793 is a split concept, 1st part of the album 87 being the more high energy side of the album. 93 being the deeper story telling side of the album. The correlation being basic 87 gasoline compare to premium 93 gasoline. - Mr Dreamz Magazine

Boome1000

After running the tour circuit for the past 2 and a half years as direct support for Juicy J, Kid Ink, Machine Gun Kelly, Bone Thugs, and many others Boome1000 is now preparing to drop another jewel. His new album 8793 has been brewing and is now due to release April 14th. The Marietta Georgia native approach the new project as a split concept which consists of 2 sides 87 and 93. The 87 side consists of 7 raw songs which are full of energy, also a guest feature from Houston’s rap legend Lil Keke on a catchy tune named Show Love. The 93 side goes deeper, its the art of story telling with songs like Mountain Nevaclimb 2 which has no chorus just an old man telling a story to a child between the verses. Boome1000 shows his versatility and brings you an amazing motivational story. Boome is set to hit the road with Rapper Tyga on the Texas leg of The Rawwest Alive Tour, he will also be making an appearance on both Kevin Gates and Rich Homie Quan’s Tours as well.
