"You’d have sworn you’d walked into a rock concert, save for the few moments of beat boxing and rapping. I was fairly sure there was nothing that could top what I’d just seen. And I was right.” - The Daily Nebraskan
- Mittelbayerische
“After playing a show the night before in Denton with Texas legend and fellow polka band Brave Combo, the group had an immense amount of energy and stage presence.” - Hearnebraska.org
“ Led by the duo of Dave Socha on accordion and Brian Brazier on the tuba, Bolzen Beer Band’s wild, energetic polka brings them to German festivals the first time as a cautious curiosity and then as a must-see performance in subsequent years.” - Peoria Journal Star
“ From Lincoln, Nebraska, the Bolzen Beer Band lives for party-friendly polka punk. Like a distant Germanic cousin to Piñata Protest, the Bolzen Beer Band rides the backbone of the oompah polka rhythm, bringing irreverent glee to their musical heritage.” - San Antonio Current

Bio
What started out busking at football tailgates on a fall Saturday has turned into playing shows all over the country and Europe, with Bolzen Beer Band becoming the first American band to play Gillamoos, a 700 year old Volksfest, 3rd largest in Germany!
"Bolzen Beer Band gets it! These lads, from the wind-swept plains of Nebraska, understand the power of polka and wield that power in their own unique, and pretty damn spectacular, way. Check them out ASAP and don't be surprised if you aren't quite sure what it is you're witnessing. I guarantee you won't be able to turn away and you'll find yourself digging the experience, if not dancing and screaming at the same time. These guys are not lazy and laid-back. But they are, magically, new and old, at the same time. Let's "kick-out-the-jams" polka!" -Grammy Award-winning Carl Finch, Brave Combo
