Bio

Boltok is a blend of the diverging styles and personalities of two young producers. The collaboration was born after Luis heard Joe's set at one of Hollywood's underground raves, the rest is history. With Joe's Trance/Electro background and Luis's love for Progressive/Big Room House, a disaster was surely set in motion. Remarkably, through hard work and perseverance the fusion led to a unique sound they can call their own. The duo decided to form the group Epic & Rage, and began performing at clubs around SoCal such as Avalon, Belasco, Globe Theatre, Key Club, Boardner's, and many more.

In January of 2014, Epic & Rage traveled to Argentina to work with Argentina's well known J.P. Sgalia. Through this collaboration, the club banger "Crazy Ball" was released under Dbeatzion Records. The track quickly gained traction and reached the top of Argentina's EDM charts, banging at the walls of Buenos Aires' hottest clubs including the world famous Cub One. After their unreal experience with the Argentinian crowd, the duo then returned to the United States with a newfound fervor to hone their skills for both the studio and on stage.

After countless gigs and numerous releases, the group decided to briefly break away from the industry to gain a new musical perspective. Joe decided to join the United States Army while Luis focused on his studies. Upon Joe's return as a proud member of the United States Army, the duo was inspired to start fresh. They changed their name to Boltok and are now focused in honing their style, blurring the boundaries between mainstream and underground sounds.
