Bluhauz - Purify My Soul
His name might sound vaguely Germanic, but the former Stone Giant singer/guitarist is a Berklee graduate currently based in Miami, and Purify My Soul is all ‘Murca (with a healthy side of British classic rock) – think dirty but decadent slabs of blues rock riffage, boot-stomping delta swagger and a cocksure voice that can’t quite decide whether it wants to be in Led Zeppelin or Aerosmith. There are worse conundrums, to be fair. - Classic Rock Magazine / Loudersound

Bluhauz, Stone Giant‘s singer, contacted me recently to tell me about “Purify My Soul”, the first single in his solo project. I love Stone Giant’s music, so I was sure it would be worth a listen. I was actually blown away by this new track when I heard it. It’s a very cool heavy bluesy rock track. - Real Rock & Roll

Bluhauz launched his first single “Purify My Soul” which marks an expected return after his great success as frontman and guitarist of Stone Giant. This track and the incoming album represent Bluhauz’s devotion to his main influences of traditional blues rock, but also brings a particular dance beat that reminds to Jamiroquai.
In 2010, Bluhauz began his studies in Boston at Berklee College of Music. He was soon recognized among the community as a solid rock guitarist and artist. In 2014, Bluhauz was named third best blues player at the worldwide competition of guitarist Lee Ritenour.
One of the highlights of Bluhauz Berklee years was his graduation where he was selected to perform Led Zeppelin songs at the Commencement Ceremony with Led Zeppelin’s guitarist Jimmy Page being at the audience and awarded with the Honorary Doctorate. After graduating from college in 2014, the touring years began. Bluhauz was frontman of the rock band Stone Giant founded at Berklee and then based in NYC.
The band got major exposure and press being featured on Rolling Stone, Billboard, Classic Rock Magazine, MTV, BBC, Spotify playlists and many more. During these years with Stone Giant, Bluhauz has gained experience performing at Lollapalooza Argentina and Chile 2016 along with artists as Eminem, Skrillex, Noel Gallagher, and Alabama Shakes among others. The band also shared major festivals with Gorillaz, Cypress Hill, Florence and The Machine, Tame Impala, and so on.
Currently based in Miami, FL. Bluhauz launches his first solo project self-titled Bluhauz on January 10th, 2020 with the release of his single “Purify My Soul” produced by LoSweet Records along with a music video produced and directed by filmmaker and photographer Anne Godoneo. Creating a new sound, Bluhauz combines classic rock and the blues with dance beats and high energy.

Full Interview at link. - Perfil
Bluhauz is the self-titled debut album from Miami based guitarist Bluhauz. Bluhauz originally hails from Argentina and was the frontman for Stone Giant prior to launching a solo career. Over the past year, Bluhauz released multiple singles from the album and his debut was listed as one of Blues Rock Review’s most anticipated albums of 2021.
The album opens with the first single, “Purify My Soul,” which sets the tone for the album. Featuring a fuzzy guitar riff, “Purify My Soul” is a strong rocker to kick things off. Bluhauz goes reggae on the next track, “What’s Going On.” The latest single “Does It Matter?” follows and features a catchy chorus that will stick in the listener’s head complimented by Maryel Epps’ backing vocals.
Bluhauz shifts towards the blues on “Tell Me Baby” while “Keep On Rolling” is a pandemic inspired track about living in lockdown with an optimistic outlook to keep on rolling.
One of the album’s highlights is the anthem “Generation Calling” which features humming and a violin intro from Stefano Melillo. The song explodes in the chorus and should be a crowd favorite in the live setting. “Give It Back” was one of the other previously released singles and features Alexis Rodriguez laying down the groove and more of Bluhauz’s fiery guitar work. “Everyday,” also released as a single is a high energy, electric rocker that closes out the record.
Bluhauz delivers with his self-titled debut album. It’s one of the better rock releases in 2021. The album is filled with great hooks, excellent guitar, and well crafted songs. Jump on the train because Bluhauz is ready to purify your soul with fresh rock and roll.

Bio
Throughout his life, US based singer/guitarist Blue House has experienced a truly unpredictable and unprecedented journey. From admiring Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page to sharing experiences with him, from being frontman of Stone Giant to launching his solo career, from attending Berklee College of Music to playing some of the most famed festivals in the world such as Lollapalooza - Blue House has done all of these things. Now, with his debut solo album out August 6th, 2021, Blue House, he’s setting off on his biggest adventure yet - musically, spiritually, and personally.
Lead single “Purify My Soul,” released in 2020, signaled Blue House’s intent. “I’m a more spiritual kind of person now, looking for self-awareness. A lot of my songs talk about purifying your soul and that kind of spiritual growth, and that theme repeats all over the album,” he says. This is evident with the other singles that have been released as well as the rest of the thirteen tracks on the album. Blue House's music has been already featured by Classic Rock Magazine, Spotify, and Billboard among other major press.
This new level of maturity and insight doesn’t mean Blue House’s music is overly serious, however: this is alternative blues rock with a lot of heart, soul, and swagger. Some songs have a more pop sensibility while others are funky - but regardless of the stylistic explorations, every song features his nimble blues-influenced guitar playing and impassioned vocals.
