Blue Alley Cats are a five piece band from Oakland, Ca. featuring guitar, bass, drums, sax & harmonica, playing all manner of rock, blues, R&B and rockabilly covers plus originals of many genres. The band started in 2012 with an entirely different line-up with the exception of Ed Lundell on bass, the sole original member. Since then we've featured several different combinations of old and new members, and frequently bring in guest performers as well. Oakland blues master Cool Fox frequently joins us on stage, as he did for our album 'Swing With It', contributing two of his songs, 'Barrelhouse' and 'Mad Dog Blues', fan favorites from his personal repertoire.
We're currently looking for northern California gigs only.
