Bio
Blister Soul is a four piece rock & roll band from Joplin, Missouri. After years of exploring alternate creative outlets and career paths, the band rediscovered making music together. While some members have been playing together since the late 90's, the current lineup was formed in the summer of 2017. Influences include Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, The Drive-By Truckers, Vigilantes of Love, and Starflyer 59.
Those influences are evident in their songwriting รข€“ each crafted to be simple yet musically intriguing. Starting with a catchy guitar riff, lyrical themes explore complicated histories, love of family, and questioning the American dream. They have a DIY work ethic and make every effort to produce art on their own terms.
The band is currently in their studio recording original songs and looks forward to sharing them with you soon.
