Big Greg wrote his new single “You Can Have It All” after being inspired by the love of his aunt and uncle. Linking up when they were teenagers and staying married for the better part of another six decades their love a fitting inspiration for such a beautiful and moving song. “You Can Have It All” opens with the shimmering twinkles of percolating piano lines before the beat drops and a very lush and imaginative strain of urban influenced music enters. Hip Hop is not always a genre known for its nuance, complexity and emotional depth but with artists like Manifest Music’s Big Greg producing tracks like this, it should be.
This sweeping and expansive track is the perfect way to remind yourself about the good things in life and the endless promise of true love. “You Can Have It All” is absolutely beautiful baby making music that will appeal to the ladies and the gentleman with its tight lyrical content, bouncing beat and hypnotic flow. This is head bobbing music, slow dance music, hold her close and never let go music, lovers of the world, take note!

Greg would perform around campus during student activity events and anywhere in the city that permitted him. During college, Greg began to draw many comparisons to Drake because he could easily create lyrics in addition to singing on tracks. Let us know what you think. - Spit Fire Hip Hop
1. How long have you been in the rap game?
I have been in the game for 9 years now.
2. Who are your major influences in your music?
My two sons If it wasn’t for them i would have given up a long time ago. Often I feel like I’m not getting recognized enough for what I bring to the table and when I stop and look at my kids, I can see
myself potentially telling them when they grow up, don’t ever quit.
3. What is your first single?
My first single is “Like a Stripper“
4.Who Do You have On Your Album?
“Me”. Lol, I have the big homie “Latruth” and a couple other emerging artist on my project.
5 . How did you get into the rap game?
Several of my friends in college started doing freestyle battles in the dorm room. After being harassed to participate, I eventually gave in and started to win over all of the competition. Shortly after that I begin to record songs with my friends in the dorm. After recording a few songs with them, I begin to perform during our activity events on campus and I eventually started performing at local clubs while attending college.
6. Where were you born?
Rough Raleigh NC
7. Who would you like to work with that you haven’t already?
I would like to work with J Cole because he is so creative with his music in addition to him being from NC. I also would like to work with Drake, Lil Wayne & Big Sean.
8. Who do you think is the hottest rapper out?
Wayne “Lil tunchie” Carter. He goes in on all of lyrics and songs. His style is so unarthodox and he always seem to keep you listening for his crazy punch lines.
9. Who do you think is the hottest producer out?
I think Drake producer “40” is sick with the tracks right now.
10. Who is your favorite artist?
I can’t choose just one…. J. Cole, Drake, Wayne, Big Sean, Fabolous.
11. How did you come up with your album title?
Its my fourth album and my first name is Greg so the name came to me fairly easy.
12. What is your favorite song on your album?
They are all my favorite, but If I had to choose, it would have to be “Goin In.” I pride myself off of being different when creating tracks although, I know I have to deliver a club song to make people bounce but my style is very unpredictable to most.
13. Which song on your album means the most too you?
“Yeah Yeah” is the track on the album that means the most to me because of the underlying message. When I started wanting to get into this game, many people would say “You Can’t Do It”, “Everyone is trying to be a rapper”, & “why would you want to be a rapper” .So I wanted to write a song that speaks to people who dream and work hard at there it, regardless of what people say. There isn’t a better feeling than to accomplish what many or all people said you could not do.
14. Who are you signed with?
I’m signed to Manifest Music, a independent label based out of Charlotte, NC.
15. When is your album release date?
My EP titled “#G4” will released in June 2016
16. What cities do you plan on touring?
I’m about to get started on a regional (Raleigh, Greensboro, Atlanta, Columbia SC and Miami)
17. What female rapper or artist do you think is the sexiest?
It’s something about Rhianna, she’s so mysterious but she is sexy!
18. What would you like to see from the music industry over the next two years?
Alot more Big Greg!! And I definitely would like to see more independent artist take over the industry, it is so many talented artist that are never heard of because they don’t know how to get in the business or maybe they just don’t have the money to spend on studio time, travel, beats etc….
19. What is your second single gonna be?
My second single is titled “You Can Have It All“.
20. What are you doing to make money from your music right now ? would u like celebrity consulting services?
I’ve made the most money performing in bars/clubs, events and selling my single on Itunes and Google Play. Of course!
21. Favorite drink in the club?
Water. Lol
22. Favorite industry magazine?
XXL
23. Who got you started in the rap game?
My roommates in college (Campbell University), would host freestyle sessions in our dorm room and after being asked on multiple occasions would I participate, I eventually tried it and the rest as they say is history.
24. How does your family feel about your music and your choice of career?
My family is very supportive of what I do and for some reason, they already think that famous. lol
25. Top 5 rap albums of all time?
In no order:
Nas – Illmatic,
2pac – All Eyes On Me
Outkast – Stankonia
B.I.G. – Ready To Die
Juvenile – 400 Degrees
26. Favorite r and b group or solo artist?
Jodeci… Hands Down! Those brothers were talented
27. Where do you see the rap game headed?
With the re-insurgence of J. Cole & Kendrick Lamar, I think the game is headed in a conscious state. Which is definitely a good thing, I feel like for a long period of time in Hip Hop you did not have options, everything was trap but now I see the stage making room for different avenues within Hip Hop now kind of like the 90s.
28.How do you usually come up with your songs?
I typically listen to the beats and read what it says to me. My goal is to create songs that “hug” the beat. I want people to feel like the words were made to fit the beat.
29. What can we expect from you in the future?
More music, touring and endorsements. I also want to potentially be apart of something bigger than me, like writing and producing for other artist.
30. How Can People Reach You?
