"BdotCroc -One Day"

Minneapolis female artist BdotCroc dropped a new single just a few days ago titled "One Day" & she's on her way to the top. Lyrically BdotCroc sets herself apart from the rest of the bunch, that are in the same industry, which is why I chose to share this fire track with you guys. Looking back on her struggle with a sense of pride, she is finding the beauty in her journey.

BdotCroc IS Hip-Hop, at least the Hip-Hop that I grew up off of and heard as a kid. Destined for greatness, I can't wait to see and hear BdotCroc grow as an artist and watch her continued success in this rap game. Production is killer too, shoutout to Young Taylor as well.

[Quotable] "I leveled up, rose from the concrete, had to pick my petals up, hoping someone find me, now I'm onto better stuff, designing my own route, get it on my own now, cus I earned my own clout." I also loved the reference and homage paid to Drake in the hook, switching up a few words from the hook in his "Fake Love" track, and then transitioning it to make it her own, that was smooth.

"BdotCroc Takes on Friday Fire Cypher + Shares New Track "Headshots""

“The thousand lakes…a place that’s never fake.”

Longtime wordsmith (and recent graduate) BdotCroc stopped by the Friday Fire Cypher coming full force, holding it down for both Minneapolis as well as the true female artists with more bars than a lot of dudes running around. After being given something exclusive from DJ Scratch, she jumped out the gates right to set the tone for the rest of the cypher. It was very clear early on with the creative Heather, Tracy, Kelly and Sway name drops that she was making sure the world knew – it was straight off the top. Respect. - Sways Universe

"BDOTCROC — Never Had to Lie"

There’s no holding back on Never Had to Lie, from Minnesotan rapper BdotCroc. The delivery is forceful and energetic. It’s in your face and it makes you pay attention.

With an impeccable flow and a hard-hitting beat, what we have here folks, is a near perfect rap song. There’s respect payed to the old school, but with a clear understanding that the artist is forging her own path in the game.

There’s a never say die, take no prisoners attitude in the delivery from BdotCroc, real name Brynne Crockett. A fearlessness and perseverance that only comes about through sheer hard work.

It will come as no surprise to hear that Crockett has been rapping since the tender age of just 8 years old. She would showcase her talent in the basement of her great grandmother’s house.
It’s fair to say that since then, Crockett has come a seriously long way. She’s performed alongside giants like Kendrick Lamar, Lupe Fiasco and Gucci Mane, just to name a few.

Not content with being just a rapper, BdotCroc is also a community leader, youth worker and radio personality. She works with young people in the juvenile justice system, crediting this work as inspiration for some of her lyrics.

BdotCroc featuring Rocky Diamonds: “Grind Don’t Stop”

If Northside up-and-comer BdotCroc isn’t on your radar, it’s time to remedy that. The young rapper’s charisma and ambition are on full display in this new video for “Grind Don’t Stop,” a sweet jam—featuring a guest verse from nationally-breaking Minnesota MC Rocky Diamonds—that also functions as a sort of manifesto. "BDOTCROC CONVEYS ALL HER PASSION & REFLECTS IN ‘ONE DAY’ MUSIC VIDEO"

At this exact moment in 2017, the climate of female Rap seems to be at the best we’ve seen it in several years. Having so many women winning alongside each other, in their own individual lanes, this has only inspired individuals like BdotCroc to push their pen and make their voices heard.

Coming from Minneapolis, BdotCroc is one to look out for as she’s packing some punches and fury that’s garnering attention. Up to bat with her newest music video for “One Day,” BdotCroc puts on display some of the traits she has to offer with her material and delivery. Bio

Some rappers are all about entertainment. Others, on the other hand, look for ways to make music that truly connects with the audience and leaves a lasting impression. BdotCroc is a rap artist who certainly belongs to this second category.

Hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota, this talented young artist set out to jump to the very forefront of the local hip-hop community with her unique personality and energetic charisma.

Her music is direct, irreverent, and in-your-face, with an energetic flow that reminds of the greats of the hip hop genre. BdotCroc always manages to impress her audience from the get-go with her razor-sharp, precise, and on-point lyrical flow. She has a unique way to mold words into powerful and thought-provoking rhymes that have a depth that goes beyond entertainment.

Rapping since the young age of 8, she never stopped working on her craft and improving her skills one rhyme at a time. Over the years, she went from battling her cousins in her great grandmother basement, to becoming the youngest female artist to headline the prestigious stage of Soundset back in 2012. She went on to perform extensively, and opened for some of the hottest hip-hop artists on the global scene, including Dej Loaf, Trey Songz, Gucci Mane and more. Most recently, she made her debut at SXSW and appeared on Sway in The Morning.

BdotCroc prides herself of her unique approach and lyrical twist, always remarking: “nobody’s in my genre”. BdotCroc is a public figure to be watched for the next few years. With the recent release of her project Show & Tell she is already solidifying her place in music, and with the newest release of the single, “One Day” she is building a massive following one track at a time.
