Zoe is an exceptional singer/songwriter from Dallas and she has been reigning the Indie charts for a certain time, but wait...there is more to tell - her musical journey will undauntedly follow the next higher level.
Please tell us somewhat about your latest and bombastic release " Better Than Revenge"?
My latest single 'Better Than Revenge' and my just released EP 'Zoe Ann' were very important for me to write. I wrote those songs while recovering from a very difficult year. I was going through some really tough things, and it came out in my writing. The music on this EP comes from the heart. And I love performing it, and sharing my thoughts with my audience.
According to your current schedule, you have some gigs in Texas. What venues will you hit in the near future?
I've gotten to play some amazing places so far. Coming up this month in Dallas, Tx I will be playing The Curtain Club and The Hard Rock Cafe. We are setting a date in Jan for a show back at House of Blues in Dallas, too.
What do you need for a perfect gig that dears your heart?
Honestly, it wouldn't matter where it was, but my biggest dream is to see a huge crowd of people, singing along to my lyrics, having the time of their lives at my concert. To me, that is a massive accomplishment.
How would you see yourself within the music industry?
I see myself as an artist who can relate. I write my songs from my personal experiences, they all come from me. I hope that my songs can be a help to people going through similar things. I want to be someone that people can look up to. An artist that is honest, and works hard to accomplish what she has.
What are your plans for 2013? Tours, releases, etc.?
We are currently planning my first actual TOUR for 2013! I am beyond excited. I'll be posting the dates and venues as soon as I get them set in stone. So everyone keep up with my sites for updates. My show dates are always linked on my website. www.ZoeAnnMusic.com
What do you believe your fans love most about your music?
That I write my music. That I write from a relatable point of view. That I don't just stand there at the mic, I play guitar, keyboards and ROCKOUT with my audience!
What is your favorite song you have performed so far? Can you tell us why?
So far my favorite song that I've written is off my newest album "Zoe Ann". The song is called "Wake Me Up". I wrote it at my lowest point, and I love playing the piano and singing it live. Our set is so upbeat and rocked out, which I love. But this song gives the audience a chance to see me the way I started. At my piano, singing my heart out!

Just over a year ago we added a song called “Lipstick lies” to the Butterflies Rotation and we were in awe when we discovered that the singer was 15 years old! Today we welcomed back ZOE ANN to TWITTER TUESDAY LIVE! Still only 16 she is growing before our eyes as her voice grows stronger with every song she produces!
It was great to see such a large live audience tuned in to support Zoe today! Through the ever growing social networks, Zoe has gained fans throughout the world and of course, being such a “social butterfly” her fans can expect lots of news from her and she is always up for a chat!
During the show Zoe told us about the amazing team of people she has to support her! She also talked about her band and how proud she was to get up on stage and perform with them!
We also had the world premier of her heartfelt ballad WAKE ME UP, a truly amazing song! We featured GIRLFRIEND and her rocking song BETTER THAN REVENGE that is now available as a single! All these songs can be found on her new EP which comes out on 4th November 2012.
ZOE ANN has an incredible stage presence and can work the crowd like the true rock star she is! She has also made some great videos, all of which can be found on her you tube channel. For someone so young she has this amazing talent that one day will put her amongst the top names in today’s music world! Mark and I told her that we want a mention in her Grammy acceptance speech! Lol

Bio
Zoe Zobrist is a 22 year old singer, songwriter, musician and model from Dallas, Texas. Music has always been a big part of her life. She began learning piano as soon as she could reach the bench, and writing her own songs at age 7. Being incredibly shy, musical theater helped break her out of her shell, and find a love for performing. After stumbling upon her family's 70's record collection she became a classic rock fan. She tried a few other genres of music, but really felt like herself once she started learning and jamming to her favorite Zeppelin songs.
Picking up the guitar at age 13, and then forming a band at age 15, the journey began. From age 15 to age 17, Zoe got to play some great venues for example: Six Flags Amphitheater in DFW, SXSW in Austin, The Roxy in Los Angeles, exit/in Nashville and The Mall Of America in Minnesota, to name just a few.
Zoe released two EP’s followed by a single produced and co-written by DJ Lethal of Limp Bizkit. Her music got radio play in the US, Australia, South America, and Europe! After recording a cover of Separate Ways, Zoe got recognition from the classic rock band “Journey” including getting to do their soundcheck for them and receiving a Taylor Electric Guitar from their guitar tech!
In 2014, Zoe played SXSW in Austin, TX and made a connection that allowed her to spend the next four years writing and recording to truly refine the kind of artist she wanted to be, trying out different styles and exploring her artistry. This brought her to a contemporary medley of blues and rock with some southern tones. Her writing is honest, and comes from intense life experiences enough for a couple of lifetimes, let alone a 22 year old. This is why she sounds so beyond her years. Zoe is an intoxicating combination of a rock and roll, gypsy cowgirl, and is ready to hit the ground running. So keep your eye out for Zoe, she’s an artist you will want to know! Upcoming RELEASE 10/19/18 of a single off her new EP!
