Zakki Hill

Zackary "Zakki" Augustus Hill, born October 1st, 1993, is an American singer-songwriter from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Having shared the stage with Ke$ha, Jeffree Starr, and the Neon Trees, this young man is a driving force behind the rise of mainstream music in the rock-dominated music scene of Oklahoma City .

Zackary's very first live performance was in 2008 when he played a three-song set consisting of a Lily Allen cover, as well as two of his original songs, to an audience of ten. "At the time, I could not believe that more than five people had showed up! As the MC introduced me to the audience, it was in fact very emotional to find out onstage that there were faces I didn't recognize that had made it out to see the show"  

Though he has shown to be a seasoned writer, Zackary actually does not draw inspiration from traditional singer-songwriters. "I've always had a greater respect for artists that do it all: Sing, dance, pick their own clothes, write their own material, and direct their own lights and stunts. When people come out to my show for the first time, generally they imagine that it'll be just me singing alone to a backing track, and I always look for the surprise in their eyes when it turns out to be me with dancers, stunts, stage effects and of course, fire."

Upon his eighteenth birthday in 2011, Zackary hopped on the first flight out to New York, where he would spend six months gracing several nightclubs, the Times Square subway station, and even the renowned Webster Hall , perfecting his poise by frequenting auditions for TV singing shows as well as Network Television pilots. He paid his bills waiting tables, doing Extra work on film sets, and even had employment as a phone psychic. After being told "no" on dozens of occasions by record labels and casting directors, he laughs "In hindsight, I am kind of glad I wasn't thrust onto the fast track. Between my very first rejection by Glee and now, I have had  the time to truly fine-tune my sound and my live act."

With over one million Twitter followers, Zakki Hill is a social media monster and tours year-round, nationwide.
